As you begin to explore the various aspects of the Internet you should try to focus on ways that you can use these new tools in your classroom to teach mathematics. Later in the week you will have an opportunity to discuss these ideas with other teachers in our group as well as with online mentors. The Big Picture
Days will begin with clarifications (as needed) from the previous day's material and a discussion of what is scheduled for the new day. Please plan to arrive on time for these discussions as they will help set the focus for the day.
Each day will end with a wrapup discussion and an opportunity to express any concerns you may be feeling.
During the school year you will be encouraged to integrate what you have learned into your classroom and to do turn-around training with your colleagues. The Math Forum will be there to help in many ways including monthly followups.
