Purpose/goal: Celebrate 100th Day of School

Lesson/activity

Introduce:

1. Count from 1 to 100.
2. Read book.

Develop:

1. Have the students identify every time the teacher says the words “one hundred” as the story is read.
2. Use the 100 chart to skip count to 100, counting by 5s and 10s.

Extend:

• Cook 100 mini pancakes or cookies for the class to share, just as the wolf shared with the chickens.
