Problem 1: A Partly Tangent Square

If the side of the square is 8, find the radius of the circle.

Problem 2: Zoo Trip

Melissa started saving money last spring to take her family to the zoo when they were in town for the family reunion. She collected $64. The cost of admission is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and $2 for children under the age of 12.

She wants to take all eight of the children (including herself) and as many parents, aunts, uncles and grandparents as possible. What is the greatest number of adults and senior citizens that can go to the zoo with the children?
