Process:

1. See how many inches the tile is.
2. See how many tiles are in a foot remembering that there are 12 inches in a foot. There are 3 tiles to make a foot.
3. Find how many tiles are in a square foot. If it takes three tiles to make a foot then you have to have nine tiles to make a square foot because there would be three rows of three.
4. If you need one hundred square feet to get the answer, you multiply 9 X 100 and you get 900 tiles.
5. If each tile costs 37 cents, then you multiply 900 times .37 to see how much it costs. It will cost $333.00.
