We named our tessellation Moonlight because the colors fade in and out just like the moon on water with all the reflections.

To form the tessellation, we made a square and cut a line through it from top to bottom. We moved the shape over to the opposite side. We used copy and paste, numerous times, to create a checkered pattern. We alternated the pattern silver to blue with blue to silver.
