As we view the Runners graphs we notice:
- positive slope
- two runners met 20 seconds in
- one starts at 0, one starts at 100 ft.
- using intervals of dots to decide red is slow
- different directions
- if took derivative of function –> velocity
- “Walkers” is a more appropriate title
- go same distance, different time
- red 40 ft from start and blue 60 ft from start when they meet
As we view the Runners graph we wonder:
- are they really going in opposite directions
