Four years of work by the development team has resulted in Fathom Dynamic Data Software, Version 2...." This software for exploring data now lets you: - Add five-number summaries to a summary table by menu command - Create correlation matrices by dragging multiple, continuous attributes to summary tables - Use the Linear Model tool to create simple and multiple regression models - Use functions such as linRegrPredicted and logRelativeError to create visualizations Access U.S. census microdata from 1850 to 2000, with more than 50 attributes. Fathom's 329 sample documents, which include more than 100 new sample documents, are listed with descriptions in the help system, from which you can open them directly. Use the "URL-drop" method of importing data from web pages for a wide variety of sites. Recognizing more than 90 units of measure, Fathom 2 lets you convert from one system to another, and use units in algebraic formulas with simplification.
