ALGEBRA & TRIGONOMETRY/CALCULUS PROBLEMS OF THE WEEK

Two new high school POWs administered by the Math Forum
are up and running.
Algebra and Trig/Calculus questions reflecting different
levels of difficulty are drawn from a variety of sources:
textbooks, math contests, NCTM books, puzzle books, and
real-life situations. The goal is to challenge students
with non-routine problems and encourage them to put their
solutions into words.
Each problem offers comments on the most recent question,
highlighted solutions, an archive of past problems and
solutions, a FAQ, and a page of information about how to
join the projects with a link to a Mentor Registration Form:
