The weaver of this small bag face has delighted in the ambiguities inherent
to pattern-making. Small squares of alternating color emphasize alternate
points of intersecting axes that define a rectangular grid. Dividing each
rectangle, triangles combine to form different shapes.
The field pattern may be read in many different ways, all of which derive
from geometric shapes and their relationships.
Look carefully at the border pattern; it shows translation of two slightly
different crossed forms with many variations and color changes.
