You're almost there. You are dealing with ratios. Every half inch represents
25 feet. Your two geographic dimensions are 500 feet by 400 feet. How many
times is 25 feet (for the half inch on the drawing) contained in 500, and 400
feet, each? Now, how many half inch lengths in both directions does your
drawing need?
