That would be because you have no problem with people on your side of the fence making serious accusations of "racism" in regard to not only WHITE mathematics educators, but African-American and Native- American mathematicians and teachers who don't toe the Mathematically Correct/HOLD party line on Saxon Math, etc.
And of course, it's because when Wayne Bishop repeatedly calls for or quotes Reid Lyons calling for "blowing up the schools of education," you see this as a perfectly legitimate rhetorical device and/or dismiss it as humor. No such slack would ever be cut for someone using sarcasm or satire to promote a viewpoint you disdain.
And of course, you don't consider out of bounds your own repeated insistence that anyone who has a viewpoint on a subject that strays from your political views (unless the person happens to be Wayne or someone like him) is not only a socialist or communist or pinko or fellow traveller or some other similar Red-baiting epithet, but that said person is a clear admirer of the work and practices of Josef Stalin and Mao Tse-tung.
Basically, Ed, you're like Paul Tanner, Greggie, and Wayne: you're cleverly selective about who gets to say or do what. I don't see why you even bother to deny it when the record on this forum speaks for itself.
I've haven't claimed to be playing by any rules here, since I gave up trying a long time ago. You have within the last year posted the name of some sex offender whose only connection to me is living on the same very long street. Your response was some sort of "turnabout is fair play" nonsense which aside from the fact that you were quite likely hoping to gain traction with that post that might get me barred from teaching, just as Greggie (unsuccessfully) tried to have my e-mail privileges suspended at U of M when they were my ISP and Wayne tried (unsuccessfully) to get me in trouble with Professor Fred Goodman, a member of my dissertation committee, and just as Greggie as recently as today was fishing for some way to get me in trouble with any current or future district that might employ me.
While I know you will dismiss the above as an "obvious" attempt at humor on your part, there is not the slightest hint of that in what you actually posted. But like all these other attempts, it didn't work.
I don't hide behind a pseudonym here as you do. My contact information is readily available, and I don't doubt that you, Wayne, Greggie, and others will make further attempts to silence me and/or interfere with my career. Why, after all, would anything have changed in your tactics?
Nonetheless, I expect to be working and posting here or elsewhere for a long time to come if I so desire. You prove yourself an abject coward with each anonymous post you make, even though I have provided anyone interested with clear evidence of who you are and where you live (confirmed at least in part by your occasional acknowledgment of a Brooklyn, NY residence). I can well understand your "shyness" about your identity. After all, given what you and your friends have done, why would you not believe that I or someone else would go for your livelihood or family? If I were anything like you, I'd long ago have tried. Since I'm not, you and your family and your job remain safe from any substantive attack from me. Much as I despise you and your friends, I wouldn't stoop to your level in this regard. If the worst that ever happens to you is that you CHOOSE (as you do) to read what I write, vulgar or otherwise, you're a lucky fellow.
