I don't understand what you don't understand. I don't know why the simple algorithms don't get through to you.

The Synergetics coordinates of the vertices of (1,0,0,0) are
(1, 0, 0, -1)
(1, 0, -1, 0)
(1, -1, 0, 0)
(0, 0, 0, 0).

The Cartesian coordinates of the vertices of (1,0,0,0) are
(1/2, 1/(2*Sqrt[3]), Sqrt[2/3])
(1/2, Sqrt[3]/2, 0)
(1, 0, 0)
(0, 0, 0).
