I thought it was very fair; I thought the Surface area problem was a little over the top, and the tree diagram question might be misunderstood because it said how many outfits contain jeans AND flipflops. Meaning: jeans and flip flops simultaneously? or an out fit containing jeans and/or flip flops.
I know mathematically AND means both, but in general conversation on a daily basis, we sometimes use the word AND for both situations.
My 8th grade daughter took it and she thought it was pretty easy. (She isn't the strongest math student and she really has to study to stay in the advanced class.)
Over all, I was satisfied with the content and level of difficulty. Nanette :)
