Well, I do tend to wonder, RH, how come all the pontification about education quality, teaching quality, quality of research done by Jo Boaler (and other education researchers), against education research in general, and so on and so forth practically ad infinitum,... have not led to a desire on your part to:

i) improve the quality of your spelling;

ii) improve the quality of use and application of your own mother-tongue, English (US variant [which happens to be a particularly forceful and often particularly expressive and even sometimes especially beautiful variety of the language]); [NOTE: I have just inserted the closing "]" in the previous part of this sentence {without at all changing the approved message, of course - as that would go against the reasons why this 'edit-facility' is provided}. This is part of what I mean by trying to be accurate and correct in my writing].

iii) make corrections of at least egregious errors and typos made (the title of this thread being one instance that comes readily to hand - there are many others);

iv) attempt to be scientifically more accurate in what your write;

v) write more effectively in your own mother-tongue at least (I recall some trainees at a shipping company to which I provided consultancy services for a while very successfully used the OPMS to "improve the quality of our written English"; I make a conscious effort to work periodically on on a model "To be more effective at what I do": I have not yet written up the former case, but do plan to - it is there on a list of THINGS TO DO of mine; attached herewith a PowerPoint presentation indicating some useful and perhaps interesting Missions);

v) improve the quality of thinking on your part; Richard Hake has recently provided an instance of extremely poor quality thinking from you - I observe you've not troubled to publish a retraction or apology;

vi) etc.

I do tend to wonder.
