you have to think in the spirit of "real numbers;" for instance, you can use the "surreals" to do taht
one, the categorical countingnumber  although that is not the most cannonical representation of "one"  is not the same as "the real, number, one, to an infinite precision odometerlike cruncher, 1.0000...
that is, like, more than a googolplex of zeroes.
thus: nine should be easy for a quadric surface; supposedly, that is generally the minimum number of points to define a quadric surface; corresponds to a 14deltahedron (convexity).
