NOTHING in your post addresses or refutes anything hinted, implied, suggested or claimed in my post to which you are responding.
I therefore repeat my statement, requesting (with no sarcasm whatsoever) that you should try to read and understand it. (In fact, you should carefully read the entire post in which that appears)-and only then respond. +++ QUOTE > The ideas and attitudes of a true discoverer are quite >'different' (from what Frank Zubek had surmised them to > be). Some background in *systems thinking* would be required.
I had, at the following post provided links to a couple of useful websites on 'systems science' and 'systems thinking':
Please do become aware that I am NOT AT ALL advocating "COLLECTIVE THINKING", "COLLECTIVES", "SOCIALISM", etc (as you seem to have misunderstood).
However, I DO claim that there are MANY societal issues and problems that simply cannot be resolved by ANY individual (be he or she Ada Lovelace, Edison or Einstein, Faraday, Hypatia, Maria Montessori, Emmy Noether, Bach, Beethoven, Sofia Kovalevskaya, Tesla, Liszt, Mozart, Archimedes, Socrates or Aryabhata or whomsoever you may want to choose - male or female).
Here's a simple and quite obvious example:
"To develop an effective educational system for the USA (or for India; or for any nation)".
That *Mission* will require the *integration* of ideas from all *stakeholders* in the *system*. [Words enclosed within *...* contain some 'technical meaning' (beyond what's available in any conventional dictionary); some of this meaning will come through when you start understanding *systems thinking*]. No 'genius' can by him-/herself succeed with that Mission, though obviously the contributions of geniuses would be most helpful.
GSC (As far as I can see, no sarcasm whatsoever in above message. But do be assured that if you come to me again with nonsense like "COLLECTIVES" or "SOCIALISM" or any of that kind of bumph, I shall certainly be very sarcastic).
