Subject: [ap-stat] Another easy way to reply to Community messages

NOTE:
This ap-stat EDG will be closing in the next few weeks. Please sign up for the new AP Statistics Teacher
Community Forum at https://apcommunity.collegeboard.org/getting-started and post messages there.

After I posted Tim's tip about making it easy to read and reply to Community messages, another easy
way occurred to me.

The ap-stat archives at the Math Forum at Drexel
http://mathforum.org/kb/forum.jspa?forumID=67
is continuing to archive messages from the AP Statistics Teacher Community and the threads are
preserved.

So here is another method to read and reply to Community messages.

1. Open a browser and log in to the Statistics Community.
2. Open a second browser (or Tab) and open it to
http://mathforum.org/kb/forum.jspa?forumID=67
3. You can see the recent message posted to the Community. If one captures you attention
click on the message. Unfortunately, at the moment, the messages is in an attachment,
So click on the att1.html link to open the message.
4. Read the message and if you want to reply, just click on the link
that is on the second line of the message. You will be taken directly to
the message on the community where you can reply. No need to log in again as long as
you keep the login browser open

This method will also work with messages posted to the AP Calculus Teacher community that launched
this morning.

Hope this helps

Jim
