Subject: [math-learn] Re: Economist Kern Alexander Explains the Problem with School Choice
It seems as though the article's main objection has little to do with the learning in K-12 schools and more to do with segregation. But what about learning? Does our current collegiate format really need to be fixed? Would the fix help education? Is the K-12 public school monopoly outperforming the more market driving collegiate system? I sure don't think so.
