Who was/were the other inventor/-s ?

Let me have a look at WW. In page 564 I read:

The game (introduced by M.S. Paterson and J.H. Conway some time ago) has...

But in the References and Further Reading (p. 573) I didn't find the joint
paper the game was introduced by the above two inventors.

Hmmmm.... Let's have now a look at my "JHC Ergography" web page:

There is one more inventor, namely Moscow !
