We have a lot of exciting and worthwhile activities to work on together. See http://mathforum.org/workshops/toolfest05/schedule.html for the tentative schedule.

If you go to the Math Tools home page http://mathforum.org/mathtools/ and look under What's Hot? you will find Jeff LeMieux's Question of the Day. Today let's use our collective experience to discuss his question as to how tools are being used in the classroom. Read over his examples and contribute new ways and ideas!

If you're at all interested in the third dimension, check out Jon Choate's Cabri 3D, at http://mathforum.org/workshops/toolfest05/cabri.html. Do the suggested download and activities--including Jon's way cool tutorial videos--so you'll be up to snuff for the discussion this afternoon (details to be posted later in Lounge).

We're really happy for the chance to work with old friends during the week and to meet new friends. We realize that some of you are lacking in time this week, but do drop into the Lounge, take part in discussions as your time permits, and add further ideas later on when you can.

Yours for a productive, rewarding, and fun Fest!

Gene
