Kepler and the history of Planetary motion

I am a Math Major in the process of writting a long history paper on Kepler and the history of planetary motion. I am looking for the Math back ground. I need something more than just a few eqations. I want to see the staps taken. This is for an upper level math course so there is really no math that is off limits.

Can any one help?
