Maple 10 gives:
I =
-1/3*2^(1/2)*ln(-3+5^(1/2)*2^(1/2))-1/3*ln(-2+5^(1/2))+(-4/3-1/6*2^(1/2))*ln(2^(1/2)-1)+ln(2+5^(1/2))-2/3*arctanh(2/5*5^(1/2))-2/3*arctanh(1/2*2^(1/2))-1/6*2^(1/2)*ln(1+2^(1/2))
i.e.
I = 2.4072299231640097043

It seems that your routine is much more accurate than Maxima's one!
