TI-Navigator Classroom Learning System Learn to facilitate an engaging, collaborative learning environment using the Texas Instruments Navigator System. This system uses real-time feedback to instantly assess student understanding. Designed to work with Texas Instruments graphing calculators already in widespread use, the TI-Navigator System provides wireless communication between students' TI graphing calculators and the teacher's PC. It's a great way to get students to experience the benefits of a whole new level of interactive learning. Students work collaboratively by contributing a point, equation or list, and generating classroom discussion. Generate more collaborative discussion and, ultimately, higher student achievement. Monitor students' work to ensure they are on track and on task. Immediately gauge student comprehension and areas in need of reinforcement with the Quick Poll feature. Get answers from every student, not just the vocal ones; shy students are given a voice. Identify and correct common mistakes as they occur and, if necessary, adjust lessons on-the-fly. Immediately shows student results on assignments, quizzes and tests, so teachers know right away who's "got it" and who needs additional help.
TI-Inspire Learning Technology Just imagine having the ability to: See multiple representations of a problem, individually or all at the same time, on a single screen. Link representations of a problem to see how changes to one affect others. Grab-and-move graphed functions in real time to observe relationships and patterns. Save and review work, using features similar to a computer. Use built-in interactive geometry capabilities. Enter and view mathematical expressions as they appear in textbooks.
All of this is yours with the new TI-Nspire Math and Science Learning Technology. The handheld and computer software are completely compatible with each other. As a bonus, you can snap a TI-84 Plus Keypad (included) and have side-by-side and keystroke-for-keystroke with existing TI graphing calculators.
Attend the 3 hour TI-Nspire hands-on workshop and have the opportunity to purchase this technology at a reduced price. With the Educator Trial Discount Program, you have the opportunity to purchase the TI-Nspire handheld and computer software for only $140.
