Geometry Regents on June 9th?

I've been asked by my ASI about the state setting the administration date for the new Geometry Regents on June 9, 2009. Has anyone else heard about this? Apparently David Abrams has asked for input on this idea. I can't think of any advantages to this other than getting the papers into the state earlier. I'm thinking about the negative impact on reducing instructional days for Geometry, administering the test during school days, scoring during school days (subs), etc. What do you all think?
