Request for help

This is a request for help from faculty who have experience working with
secondary math teachers and who will be attending the Mathfest in
Seattle. I am helping to organize a one hour session on how mathematics
faculty can help with secondary teacher enhancement. The audience will
be Project NExT fellows, who are new mathematics faculty. With one or
two exceptions (such as myself), these are not math ed people but new
mathematicians with an interest in teaching and education. The session
will be a panel discussion with (hopefully) plenty of give and take
through questions and answers. We are unable to offer any compensation,
so are looking for individuals who would be there anyway. Please contact
me directly if you might be interested and would like more information
about Project NExT or the special session Friday morning (August 9 at 11).
