Hi,
I've tried to derive a formula for a hyperbola that gives me a and b or y as a function of x with known p (shape factor = 1-e^2) and r (central radius). for an ellipse it's a=r/p and b = r/sqrt(p)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
thanks in advance!
