There is a new website ( http://www.nysstemeducation.org ) that is devoted to STEM Education as defined by the NYS teacher organizations in the areas of Science (STANYS), Tech Ed (NYSTEA), Engineering (ASEE), and Math (AMTNYS)

The website is intended to be a focal point for our joint effort, and we need to get the word out.

ALSO: We are developing a Summer 2010 STEM Institute at SUNY Oswego in August. The purpose of the Institute is to promote STEM education by sharing STEM activities that work, and reflecting on our current classroom practices.

So... we will be looking high and low for great professional development presentations. Attendance at the Institute will be limited. The website will keep everyone up-to-date as this develops.
