Hi folks,

I just took the math CST (for NYS certification). I understand that you need to receive 220 out of 300 points in order to pass the exam. Does this translate to 73.3 percent as a needed score to pass the exam? If 100 is the lowest score, does it mean that you need a 60 percent to pass? What the heck does a 220 mean? Are each of the multiple choice questions worth 1 percent apiece? Is the written response question worth 10 percent? What's the bottom line percent that I would have needed to score on the exam?

Frustrated with vague scoring,
Dave
