Bacillus Cylindricoccus

This deadly little bug (ficticious of course) has a cylindrical body whose diameter is the same as its length. It has a thread like tail from the centre of one circular back end and long enough to reach the centre of its front circular face. It can whip this tail around its body in a volume of space. Find the ratio of this swept volume of the tail to the volume of its body.
