Hi, all:

I understand this problem has been talked about 7 years ago at
http://mathforum.org/kb/message.jspa?messageID=1544608&tstart=0

Again. I'm also looking for the open source recently.

Procrustes Analysis may be not only able to deal with ND to ND problem, but also able to deal with MD to ND problem. What I'm interested in is just the latter, MD to ND problem.

I was suggested to read the paper
1) "Orthogonal, but not Orthonormal, Procrustes Problems"
http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/summary?doi=10.1.1.54.9741

and the book
2) "Procrustes Problems"
http://www.oup.com/us/catalog/general/subject/Mathematics/ProbabilityStatistics/~~/dmlldz11c2EmY2k9OTc4MDE5ODUxMDU4MQ==

However, I believe there must exist some open source for me to use directly. Well, C/C++ preferred.

Can anybody give me a hand?

Best Regards
JIA
