Apologies in advance if this is a crosspost.
I have a problem that is nagging at me. It goes like this: Two people, Marc and John , are racing each other. Assuming that their acceleration is constant, Marc covers the last 1/5 of the race in 4 seconds. John covers the last 1/4 of the race in 5 seconds. Who wins, and by how much? I am really more interested in HOW to solve it rather than the actual answer. Thanks in advance.
Neil
