I was informed on Friday that I will now be teaching 7th grade math. I've never taught it and have very little experience with the curriculum or assessment. I know that the curriculum is changing for the fall but that doesn't help me to know what the kids are supposed to know before they come to me. I have been on nysed.gov but quite frankly it is difficult to navigate their site. Do any of you have any helpful links? Anything to give me direction from the administration of the test (pen, pencil, length of test, calculator use...) to the pacing of the curriculum?
