By September 26, 2012, prospective speakers should send a title and abstract, as well as their own contact information, to Kathy Clark at

Emily Redman (ethredman@berkeley.edu) is coordinating local arrangements. Public transportation is available from both the San Francisco International Airport and the Oakland International Airport. See visitors.berkeley.edu/gethere/public_transit.shtml.

A discounted rate of $169/night is available at the Hotel Durant, across the street from campus (2600 Durant Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94704, 800-238-7268, www.hoteldurant.com). To book at this rate, visit booking.ihotelier.com/istay/istay.jsp?groupID=796143&hotelID=14873.

Special features of this meeting, included with the price of registration, will be a rare book exhibit, wine and cheese reception, and keynote speaker on Friday; and lunch, transportation, and visit to Math Midway at the Lawrence Hall of Science on Saturday. There will also be an optional wine tasting tour on Sunday afternoon.
