In the past I've read several posts that list benchmarks scores of Matlab 4.2c1 various computers and operating systems. Here are a few more that may be of interest. All were conducted on a Dell Pentium Pro200 with 32meg ram, an EIDE controller and a #9 motion PCI graphics accelerator with 2mb ram.

Loops LU Sparse 3-D 2-D
Windows 3.1 0.8 1.3 1.3 2.6 2.9
Windows NT 1.2 1.4 1.3 2.6 3.2
Windows 95 0.8 1.3 1.1 2.8 2.4

The scores did flucuate from trial to trial -- those listed reflect the _best_ set of 5. Hope this is helpful.

Tim
