I have problem getting poly2trellis() to work for rate 1/2 using Layland-Lushbaugh codes. I am using Matlab R2011b.

poly1=base2dec('f2d05351',16);
n1=dec2base(npoly1,8);
poly2=base2dec('e4613c47',16);
n2=dec2base(npoly2,8);
t=poly2trellis(40,[n1 n2]);

The closest it will work is if I truncate 2 least significant octal digits, but this is not what I want.

poly2trellis(26,[362640515 344302361])

Help is appreciated.
