Hi there,
Is there any way in which I can use the MATLAB function
fmins to find the value which minimises a quantity within a
finite range of values. I have an expression of the type

X = sum( ( cross((a-b),c) )^2 )

where a and c are known vector elements of a finite dataset. I
want to find the value of b which minimises X. Any insights
on how I can approach this one will be most gratefully
received.
Thanks in advance,
Gareth.
