i'm trying to set default window titles (in the frame of the current
figure) and am having trouble getting my defaults to look right. in
my startup.m file i currently use the following command:

% custom window titles
set(0,'DefaultFigureName','MATLAB@foo')

which gives me a title as: "Figure No. 2: MATLAB@foo", what i'm trying
to achieve is something more like: "MATLAB@foo: No. 2". i tried using
this command, which gives me *almost* what i want, except the number
never changes:

% custom window titles
set(0,'DefaultFigureName',['MATLAB@foo: No. ' ...
num2str(get(0,'CurrentFigure')+1)],'DefaultFigureNumberTitle','off')

any help on this one?

thanks,
-curt
