Matlab for Workstations

Hello.

I've been using MatLab for about the last year or so on IBM and Mac
platforms, and I've been so impressed by it that I'm considering
shelling out the big bucks and buying a version for our workstation.
We have both HP 9000/700 machines and a SGI Indy machine.

I was wondering, does anyone have any recommendations as to which
ports run Matlab best? I've seen a fair number of posts
concerning Matlab on HP workstation, but very little about SGIs.

Any advice anyone could offer, both pro and con, would be appreciated.

Regards,
