I saw a blurb in the NCTM email today...

Group seeks to specify what it means to be "career ready"

I was intrigued. Finally, I thought, the ambiguity between "college" and "career ready" will be cured.

This is what I got instead...

Do you know what I figured out? These people aren't interested in a cure for the ambiguity. A cure would be the end of their careers. They intend to foster the ambiguity.
