problem when eig doesn't converge

The problem: I have 100 data sets. One at a time, the data
sets are used to estimate values in a square matrix. I then
get the eigenvalues of the matrix. The problem is that
sometimes eig will not converge. I will get the eigenvalues
from the first 33 matrices but then eig doesn't converge with
data set #34 and the program stops.

What can I do to keep matlab running and move on
to number 35, 36, 37...? The data sets are random so
unfortunately I can't just pick the ones to skip.

Thanks,

Mike
