Is16bit DLL on SIMULINK2 possible?

I have happily been using 16bit DLLs with SIMULINK1 for a long time. Now
I have upgraded to SIMULINK2 and of course nothing works. The problem is
that inside the S-function C-code I use software that comes with my
DSP-board. That software is using 16bit code (dos.h --> inport()
outport() ). My question now is : Is there any possibilities to produce
a 16bit dll ? Maybe its just a matter of editing the ‘mexopts.bat’ ? if
so how?

My setup is like this:
MATLAB 5.1.1.7
SIMULINK 2.1
RTW 2.1.1
BorlandC++ V. 5.0
Windows 95
PC-HYDRA DSP-board together with its software. (the source of my
problems)
Texas Compiler 5.0

Kind Regards
Dan,
