I think his dictionary would spell "math prize" or "maths prize" with a space and a z if it had an entry on it. I think "price", with c, would be "kost" for you; "pris" is "prize", with z. There's also British variant spelling "prise", with s, but it doesn't apply to this sense of "prize". (I'm relying on a dictionary here.)
