We went ahead with them mostly because the quadratic formula is a radical expression that they needed to understand how to express in simplest form.

Subject: RE: Radicals and rational expressions

I need some clarity on this....

1) Are simplifying radicals along with operations with radicals on the Common
Core test??

2) On the same note, are simplifying rational expressions along with operations
with rational expression on the Common Core test?

Thanks in advance for the responses
