Mathworks,

For two years, your users have experimented with the Ribbon Interface. After really trying to like it, after two years, I still do not understand the reasons for changing a useful older interface (R2012a and before), and I still find problems with the current interface. When I create a new m-file in the editor, there is no option to save the file before trying to run it - as a simple example. I know, I know, you will probably tell me to look for the option under a well-placed rock - but that is exactly the point. The interface experiment should be declared "over" and you should consider going back to the pre-R2012b release interface. If you want to dress it up, please do not consult the MicroSoft handbook as they are also tragically flawed as well in their opinion of the emporor's new clothes.
