Our summer institute will be discussing ways to develop effective online units. See more information at: http://forum.swarthmore.edu/workshops/sum98/dev.effect.html
As all teachers knowm, there are no absolutes in education. What will work with one student or group of students may not work with others. So it is with web page design. Many matters rely on personal taste.
We can help each other to design more useful web lessons/units if we discuss with each other. Here are a few questions to consider.
What makes for a good web lesson? As a teacher, what do you look for in lessons/projects on the web? What factors do you consider when evaluating web pages? In what ways do you find that color and graphics enhance a web page? In what ways do you find that color and graphics detract from a web page?
Please add your comments to our discussion.
