Hi,

I take geometry in school and am interested in running. I would like to
know about the geometry involved in tracks both outdoor and indoor. I
have a few questions and would love to know of anything written about
this. Is there a set shape for tracks? Is this the fastest possible
shape? Why? For indoor tracks I would like to know the same
information and also how the banking of the track would affect this.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Also please respond by email. Thanks.
