I need help with the following problem:

I need the highest i ( that means an expression i < z) that meets

( view this with a fixed character size )
----| i * e |
\ | j |
/ | -------- | <= x
----|_ m _|

or in TeX

\sum\limits_j \left\lfloor \frac{i*e_j}{m} \right\rfloor \le x

You can assume e_1+...+e_n < m and i>=0, if that helps.

I thought for two weeks on this problem but wasn't able to come up with
a solution. I hope someone of you can.

Thanks in advance
