I have done quite a bit of research into the relationship between mathematics
and music. I have given a presentation entitled "Mathematics and Music" at
the local and state levels as well as at AMATYC (Tulsa, 1994). Over the
years I have found a great deal of information about the commonality between
these two disciplines, but I have not seen any recent publications regarding
the topic of Mathematics and Music. If you are interested and willing to
search through old periodicals, I have a comprehensive bibliography of the
writings relating Mathematics and Music.
The best articles I have found are:

American Mathematical Monthly - January 1980
Mathematical Gazette - October 1967
Mathematics Teacher - October 1967
March 1968
April 1972
November 1972
January 1974
Summer 1979
October 1979
March 1982
School Science and Math - December 1974
October 1985
Science News - March 22, 1980

Fascinating Fibonaccis, Trudi Hammel Garland

I would be interesting in sharing any information I have with anyone else who
is fascinated by the relationship between mathematics and music.
