Jodi and others,
I, too, have been rather dismayed over the lack of videos which support our
textbooks and our courses. Our learning center personnel tells us that
students use videotapes until the tapes literally destruct and new copies
have to be made. I have enlisted the help of media services at my school and
have made 2 sets of videotapes myself for two different courses. It is a lot
of work and incredibly time-consuming, but the students are very
appreciative. Check and see if your school will give you one course release
time to develop and produce a set of videotapes to accompany your courses.
