Thank you for posting your comments. I, too, am very disappointed with the
arguments and debates that take place on this mailing list. I signed off
while I was on vacation and waited several weeks after returning before I
resubscribed. I so hoped the climate had changed. I'm disappointed that the
same old thing is happening. It has almost become as bad as the religion
groups. From the chatter on here you'd think there was one and only one
"right" way to teach math. (BTW, didn't the Standards get rid of the "right
answer" concept?)

I am looking for a mailing list where teachers can share teaching ideas,
especially ideas that reflect the Standards. If this is not the place, maybe
we need a second list.
